70th Anniversary of Israel celebration in Washington DC, at Mellon Auditorium on May 14th, 2018

The Ambassador of Israel to the United States, Ron Dermer, is hosting Israel’s 70th Independence Day, by honoring 70 Americans (and groups) who have made valuable contributions to Israel and its alliance with the United States. I have been given the privilege to accept the honor on my father’s behalf. Some of the other honorees are listed below, followed by the invitation letter. I will one of a thousand in attendance.

Every year, the Embassy of Israel hosts an annual Yom Ha’atzmaut celebration in Washington, D.C. This year will be of particular significance as we celebrate 70 years of Israel’s Independence. In special recognition of Israel’s 70 years, we plan to recognize 70 Americans or groups of Americans who have made a uniquely valuable contribution to Israel or its alliance with the United States.
